Private homes usually housing 6 people. These smaller facilities are often able to provide a more personal level of care because the ratio of care giver to resident is much smaller. And, in some cases, these can be an alternative to a Skilled Nursing Facility.

Large facilities that house both assisted and independent residents. All services available are based on each individual resident’s needs. In this type of environment, an independent resident can move to an assisted level while remaining in the same facility, and in some cases, in the same apartment.

Visit Carlton Senior Living

These facilities provide more than the independent facilities with three meals per day. Some of the additional services available include assistance with bathing and dressing, supervision of medication, and daily housekeeping.
